Each August Bank Holiday weekend something truly magical happens. Englands Medieval Festival provides the backdrop for the most memorable marriage experience of its kind.
You can have an authentic medieval Handfasting or Blessing or Vow Renewal (Note that a traditional civil ceremony can be arranged for an offsite location, with the celebration at the festival)
Step back in time and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and atmosphere of days gone by. Couples and wedding parties will delight in this unique event and guests of all ages will discover so much to see and do during their time at the festival.
With the
sights
and sounds of the medieval village, the weekend offers a
limited number of couples a special themed experience never
to be forgotten.
All festival guests can enjoy acres of parkland, lawns and
historic woodlands, or a wander
through the authentic medieval village.
Jousting takes place
in the royal arena and thrilling battle
re-enactments all weekend.
Accommodation options vary within the
festival
grounds and
locally in the area. For an authentic medieval experience
guests can sleep under the stars in furnished glamping
tents with private areas available for groups.
